In 1995 Haddon moved from Wallingford to its current location at Clacton-on-Sea and with the demise of other well known industry names over the years, Haddon Rocking Horses Ltd is now considered as England's oldest established rocking horse maker in business today.

Each rocking horse continues to be individually handmade by our craftsmen based upon the original designs and to the best of 'Haddon' traditions.

Originally founded by John and Mary Labouchere when John made his first rocking horse in the early 60's for his godson and subsequently continued in making a number of other wooden horses before formally registering the Company.

The 'Haddon' name soon became synonymous with rocking horses and demand often exceeded capacity, with the company regularly delivering its horses all over Europe - and to the rest of the world.
