Why choose a Haddon.....   five good reasons

Congratulations, as the original maker you have come back to the right people for the refurbishment of your 'Haddon' rocking horse. No one will know them better and we can for a nominal charge collect and return to most mainland UK areas using our own in-house transport should you prefer.

With great satisfaction, we often see our rocking horses which have provided 20 or 30 years faithful service being returned so they may be revitalised and look new again, although it is important to clarify we provide a FULL refurbishment service only and are unable to offer repairs or 'patch ups'.

A FULL refurbishment will cover the following :-

1. The horse body will be removed and stripped back to its base material. All seams and joints are visually inspected and carefully repaired as required before its continued preparation, repainting and lacquering. At no extra cost we are pleased to repaint to an alternative colour or style of choice. Do not hesitate to discuss with us should you have a preference.

2. The timber stand will be taken apart and totally stripped down to its component parts before being reassembled with new timbers as required prior to final preparation and lacquer.

3. Importantly, ALL screws, nuts, bolts and fixings are replaced with new and will include new swing irons and caps, every time! 

4. If appropriate, we will also carry out and complete free of charge, any relevant modifications or design improvements introduced to your rocking horse over the years.

5. Finally, on remounting the horse and stand, we will finish with the fitment of a new Mane, tail, bridle, saddle and stirrups together with a brass maker's plate recording its unique serial number which is logged for future reference.
